Cédric Lambrette

Born in Belgium, Cedric Lambrette graduated from the Paris Opera Ballet and the Hamburg Ballet schools. Following his education, Cedric danced with the Royal Danish Ballet for fifteen years. While continuing his career as a dancer, he has been teaching classical ballet internationally and was last year a professor at the National Dance Conservatory in Portugal. Since 2007, Cedric is been the Co-Founder and Artistic Leader of the Copenhagen International Choreography Competition. He is currently Rehearsal Director of the Tanz Luzerner Theater in Switzerland.

ILLICITE BAYONNE Dance Company, Director and resident choreographer

In 2004, he completed his studies at the Artistic Dance School of the National Conservatory (Portugal), having subsequently attended the «Summer Intensive» of the Juilliard School (New York) and completed his training at Escola-Atelier Rudra Béjart (Switzerland). In 2006, he joined the Malandain Ballet Biarritz, where he played, among others, the role of Teobaldo, in «Romeu e Julieta», of Cinderela’s evil half-sister, Javotte, in «Cinderela», or even «Concerto 21 », In« Mozart a 2 ». In 2002, he won the 3rd ADAMI / Synodales Choreographic Award.

«Poil de carotte», a piece conceived in collaboration with the renowned French composer Thierry Escaich, was very well received by the French critic during the last «Festival du Temps d’Aimer la Danse 2016». He was awarded by Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations, which gave him important financial support for the development of his choreographic work in the 2017/2018 season; he was also a guest choreographer, in December 2017, at the National Superior Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris. Until 2020, he is an associate artist of «Plateforme Chorégraphique de Bayonne» “OLDEAK” (France), together with his ILLICITE BAYONNE Dance Company.

Since 2010, he has the “Diplôme d’État” as a Classical Dance Teacher. He guided workshops and internships in Israel, Alemaha, the United States, Puerto Rico, Spain, Italy and France. He had the opportunity to work with personalities such as Victor Ullate, Cyril Atanassoff, Maina Gielgud, Violette Verdy, Frank Andersen, Dinna Bjorn, Azari Plissetski, Andrey Klemm, Sylvianne Bayard, Nils Christe, Georges Garcia, Michel Gascard, Lienz Chang, Eva Lopez Crevillon , Urtzi Aramburu, Céline Talon, Thierry Malandain and Maurice Béjart himself.

Registered teacher at RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) and supervisor at the Faculty of Education in London. She acquired his training in Dance between Lisbon (Center for the Training of Dancers of the National Ballet Company and EADCN – Dance School of the National Conservatory); Royal Academy of Dance and Faculty of Education (London); and Escola Superior de Dança of the Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon where she completed the Master’s Degree in Dance Teaching in 2014.

She was a scholarship student at the Royal Academy of Dance in 1995, 1997 and 1998; Ministry of Education and BCP- Banco Comercial Português in 1998.

As a student, she completed courses at the Dance School of the National Conservatory under the guidance of master Jorge Garcia; and Royal Academy of Dance where she graduated with Honors under the guidance of Professor June Mitchel.

She danced professionally for seven years at CNB- Companhia Nacional de Bailado where she played countless roles in dances of the classical, neoclassical and contemporary repertoire; having excelled in dances like Agon, Who Cares? and George Balanchine’s Serenade, and William Forshythe’s In the Middle Somewhat Elevated.

Yonel Serrano

Yonel Castilla Serrano was born in 1975, lives and works in Portugal, the Netherlands and Cuba / Havana.

He performed at national and international level, as a member of one of the largest contemporary dance companies in Havana, Cuba.

As a dancer and choreographer he is a mixture of contemporary Cuban dance / theater technique, influence of Afro-Cuban culture, Brazilian capoeira and Asian techniques of movement in relation to the mind (Qigong, Taichi and Aikido). This mixture of techniques, in combination with years of professional work covering all age levels, they have produced a very specific way of working together with dance; giving the technique in a different way from those known for the way it is performed, contact and improvisation.

Marta Lobato de Faria

Marta has a degree in Dance from the Rotterdamse Dans Academie (CODARTS) / Netherlands, holder of the diploma of the Training Course for Dancers of the Dance School of the National Conservatory. Marta Lobato de Faria was an intern at Companhia Ballet Contemporâneo do Norte – Portugal, and at Companhia Dansgroep Kristina de Châtell – Netherlands. As a freelancer, she participated in several projects across Europe, with choreographers André Gingras, Jack Gallecker, Anne Van de Broek, Neel Verdoom, Jelena Kostick, Julia Reviera, Yonel Castilla Serrano, among others. Also at a professional level, she worked with United C, Merkx & Dansers and since 2010 she has been a dancer at Companhia Olga Roriz. In her curriculum, since 2006, she has shown teaching experience to dancers in various institutions, including: FOR – Olga Roriz Training, Fontys Dance Academy, Quorum Ballet, Dance School, Academia Espaço Dança / ILÚ, Academia de Dança de Alcobaça, Performact, Helmond Dans Academie and Faro Dance Company, nationally and internationally. In 2009, she founded ILÚ – Associação Dança-Teatro de Intervenção Urbana and in 2012 she founded and assumed the direction of Academia Espaço Dança / ILÚ.

Master in Dance, at the Superior School of Dance, Portugal. As an interpreter dancer, the highlight of her professional experiences as an alumnus of the Paulo Ribeiro Company and as a dancer in the cast of Companhia Portuguesa de Bailado Contemporâneo de Lisboa, under the direction of Vasco Wellenkamp.

Currently teaches Contemporary Dance Technique at the School of Dance of the National Conservatory (EDCN). Together with the teaching area, she develops choreographic work of numerous national and international choreographies for schools, galas and events, dance groups, orientation of various dance workshops and courses, and integration of the core of judges in international dance competitions. Among the various entities for which he has worked as a guest are: the Macau Dance Conservatory, John Cranko School (Stuttgart, Germany), Perm Dance School (Russia), Associazone Europea Danza (Livorno, Italy) of Art (Brazil), Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet (Saint Petersburg, Russia) and Boris Eifman Dance Academy (Saint Petersburg, Russia). She has also been prominent in the preparation of students for international Dance competitions (in the categories of Contemporary Dance), as well as in the creation of choreographies for their respective participations. In this context, she achieved several international merit awards – Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals for student performers and Best Choreographer Prizes – namely at the competitions Arabesque Competition (Perm, Russia), Benjim Dance Competition (China), Eurovision Young Dancers , 2011 International Ballet Competition (USA), Korea International Ballet (Korea), Prix de Lausanne (Switzerland), TanzOlymp Competition Ballet (Berlin), Valentina Kozlova Competition (USA), Varna Competition Ballet Prix Dance Awards (USA).
